Eastern Counties VR172 is arriving at EFE Showbus 1999
in 'as withdrawn' conditon. It had to layover by Parking Reception for a while whilst mechanical
difficulties were attended to. It remains to be seen whether it will ultimately appear in NBC red or
the more cheerful privatised EC livery which it currently has.

VR378 (OCK988K) was transferred to the Eastern
Counties fleet from Ribble. This flat front VR is now preserved and is seen at Millennium Showbus.

In 2001 this Mark III VR, transferred from Bee Line, appeared in the livery that was adopted whilst the company was under the control of Grampian, before the merger with Badgerline produced First. 265 (CJH144V) was new at High Wycombe as Alder Valley 604. |
