Assisting Red Rose during a vehicle shortage was this Lutonian Mercedes 709D with Made to Measure coachwork. The vehicle was formerly 2077 in the Shires fleet - and still carries that number. Shires acquired several of these Mercedes from Birmingham Omnibus. Alongside is Red Rose Ford Transit H63BKM. |

This 31 seat 811D - 2095 (K184GDU) - was new to Motts' Yellow Bus operation in yellow and blue livery with Wright Nimbus body. It passed with most of the Yellow Bus operation to The Shires and within their operation was passed to Lutonian. |
