Recently acquired was this SCC bodied Dart SLF, W985WDS, principally for use on the 88 service to Hitchin. The bus is still in dealer white. The crowds have now arrived and the fleet is struggling to cope with demand. Two Red Rose buses were called in to assist with the post Run return journeys. |

The smaller Lutonian vehicles were not at a total disadvantage in shifting the
crowds, they could swallow 40 a piece quite easily and quickly loaded and disgorged.
