Languishing behind bars at the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum in August 2014 was this Alexander bodied Leyland Fleetline, new to China Motor Bus as Sf31 (CE2543) in 1980. The bus ended its days with NWFB in a special purple dragon livery and left the island for the Museum in 2000.

Ensignbus MCW Super Metrobus 484
Seen at the Spring London Bus Raly at Cobham in April 2002 is former CMB/NWFB MCW Super Metrobus ML72 (DZ1845). Ensignbus developed a liking for high capacity doubledeckers and handled many through its dealership, but this one joined its operational fleet as 484 with UK registration F84UJN. It later sold the bus to Lodge's of Higher Easter who entered it in SHOWBUS 2006. From there it got painted in lime green and joined the Brightbus operation in South Yorkshire until that firm's demise in 2017.

First Eastern Counties Dennis Dart SLF Plaxton
A biplane climbs above First Eastern Counties Dennis Dart SLF Plaxton 715 (S753SNG), a Norwich based bus. It is seen alongside a First Essex Scania at the 2002 SHOWBUS Rally at Duxford. The vehicle was new to NWFB as their 2075 (HY8973) and was one of several that First brought back to the UK.

Western National Dennis Dart SLF Plaxton Pointer
A very different and more mundane picture four years later, as 42753 the Dart is seen in Plymouth in service with First Western National. Its Hong Kong air conditioning pod is clearly visible.

Dart 42753 is seen here negotiating the exit to Plymouth's Bretonside Bus Station. The manually controlled barrier is necessary to keep out car drivers.
