Carousel Dennis DMS6 (R706MEW) is an ex Metroline Dart SLF, seen on Easter Saturday 2008 on the 35 purple branded route in High Wycombe. The bus was new to MTL London Northern as DMS6. It seats 32 and has since been withdrawn.

Dart DMS6 about 5 minutes earlier, shifting bays in the Bus Station. The new Bus Station is remarkably crowded with bays often occupied when buses arrive, meaning arrivals grab whatever they can. The old Bus Station had a dropping off point outside, which eased congestion a bit. Note the spare Dart MPD in LT red off Arriva London route U9.

By August 2013 the purple routes were in the hands of a pair of branded MAN 12.220 buses originally with NCP in Birmingham. Here 417 (AE53GCZ) turns from Castle Street to serve the only High Street bus stop.

The second purple branded bus, sister 415 (AE53GCX) on the 35 and 36 routes is seen leaving the Bus Station in June 2015 on route 39. For some years DMS6 was the only purple bus and the routes required two. Doubledeck Scania Omnidekka 911 also serves on the routes with its wrap for Amersham & Wycombe College which the routes serve. This is probably why 415 was able to be diverted on to the 39 route, usually served by orange branded Enviro200 bodied MAN buses.

Another MAN from the batch, 416 (AF53GCY), was painted in this odd pink and purple scheme and it might have been expected to gain branding for the 35/36 services before 415 appeared in purple livery. The bus was seen on the 336 in Watford in October 2013 and it roamed the network for a while before withdrawal.
