A bus which was at home in Wycombe with Carousel was former Bee Line - Wycombe Bus - Arriva Leyland Lynx F558NJM, which spent its working life from Wycombe's depot whilst passing through the trio of owners. The bus is seen at SHOWBUS international 2002, showing blinds for the Chesham - Watford route, one of the few Carousel tendered services operated which required singledeckers, because of low bridges.

Carousel started a new commercial service between Chesham and High Wycombe numbered 4 in direct competition with Arriva's long established 372. Initially ex Speedlink DAF SB220 Northern Counties buses were used from the same batch as the green ones used on route 336. In June 2005 R988FNW is seen arriving in High Wycombe not far from the railway station. The livery mirrors that used on the green 336 buses and was subsequently adopted for the rest of the fleet.

Later in the year DAF988 is seen heading for Chesham having just left Wycombe Bus Station.

DAF988 again in February 2008 on a school contract at Marlow Hill schools in Wycombe.

In April 2011 Carousel abandoned the 617 school service from Maidenhead to Sir William Borlase's Grammar School in Marlow at short notice. Red Rose helped to pick up the pieces by extending one of their school contracts to start in Maidenhead. Bucks County Council took a dim view of this but eventually endorsed a solution to help students abandoned two thirds of the way through the school year. To add insult to injury Carousel "forgot" to schedule the 617 for the retuen journey on the last day of term. After over an hour's delay a Marshall bodied Dennis Dart SLF eventually arrived to take the remaining students home. The ex-Metroline Dart, DMS8 (R708MEW), is seen departing via West Street.
