One of a small batch of two Pointer 2 SLF Darts delivered for the 52 group of services from
Hemel to Chesham. The bus carries appropriate route branding, but as the destination blind
shows here in Hemel bus station, it is being used on route 84. The bus is 3217 (S217XPP),
its sister is 3216. It is seen not long after delivery in 1999.

Later Dart arrivals at Hemel were MPD, Mini Pointer Darts, which ousted the short lived Mercedes
Varios on town services. The latter were transferred to the associated Hertts & Essex fleet.
