Arriva Shires Dennis Dart MPD 3482
Two months later MPD Dart 3482 (W482YGS) failed on the penultimate run on route 74 from Slough to Wycombe at Loudwater. The driver, seen to the right, is actually phoning for assistance rather than wailing in despair, which is what might be thought. Passengers were rescued by a Wright bodied DAF SB120, the bus awaited roadside assistance.

Arriva
Arriva the Shires Dennis Dart Plaxton
The 724 was usually the preserve of a select batch of Northern Counties Prestige bodied DAF SB220s new in Green Line livery in 1997. However passengers were probably caught out by this step entrance Dart in full Arriva livery, seen at Heathrow Bus Station in October 2005. Alongside is a former Tellings Golden Miller Dart SLF on the BAA branded 441 service, then in the hands of Travel London.
Arriva
Arriva the Shires Dennis Dart Plaxton ex Sovereign
The former London Transport Country Area operations have undergone many ownership upheavals since privatisation and deregulation. Most of the operations have ended up in the Arriva empire. The notable exception being First operations based on Slough. Blazefield Holdings Sovereign operation in the former North East sector crumbled slowly. A rationalisation of routes around Stevenage resulted in the 340 Hemel-Welwyn service passing to Arriva with several vehicles. This relatively new Dart, still with Sovereign fleet number 307 (SN54GPK) is seen in Hemel Hempstead in the summer of 2005.

Also in Hemel on the same day, it can be seen where this Dart's legal lettering has been changed with a white sticker to Arriva.
