Glimpsed rounding the 'blue leanie' roundabout is one of a pair of ex Nottingham Northern Counties bodied
Olympians which left that fleet for Southend after relatively short service. From there they went to Buffalo Travel
and one was used as Rally Control at Showbus, Woburn Abbey during that time. They passed to the Shires
with Buffalo's bus services and were initially despatched to Wycombe for the Chesham services, but
were too tall to negotiate Amersham Railway Bridge. They now while their time away on school runs at Aylesbury, which is what this one is doing.

Caught resting in the corner of Aylesbury Bus station is The Shires 5079 (A699EAU), one of the two
ex Nottingham, ex Southend, ex Buffalo Northern Counties bodied Olympians.

Seen in Hemel Hempstead on Park & Ride services is this ex South Lancs Transport (hence the registration
- J4SLT) via Arriva North West, Mercedes 709/Plaxton Beaver.
It has since been painted in Arriva colours and transferred from the Shires to Southend.

Former Southend 362 (WJN362J) is a Daimler Fleetline with rather uninspiring
Northern Counties bodywork. The bus passed to Eagre of Gainsborough in whose
depot yard it is pictured.
