More appreciative of the Metrobus Tridents was Arriva/TGM subsidiary, Network Colchester. Former Metrobus 406 has become 156 (T406SMV) in the fleet. It is seen at the 2009 North Weald event.

Also at North Weald was East London 18877 (LV51YCN), a slightly more recent Trident and once Metrobus 427. A number of Tridents surplus to Metrobus was acquired temporarily by the ex Stagecoach subsidiary pending the delivery of new Scania deckers for tendered services.

Another London operator snapping up Metrobus Tridents was Metroline, here ET767 (LV51YCF) is seen at work on the 182 arriving at Brent Cross on a wet Saturday in May 2008 followed by one of Metroline's standard and more stylish Plaxton President bodied Tridents.
