Ex Metrobus of Orpington 773 (K623PGO), a Plaxton bodied step entrance Dennis Dart, is seen in service in Bicester in July 2006.

Several Optare Excels were acquired by Diamond Bus including 109 (P509OUG) which was new to Metrobus as 509 and disposed of by them before both companies were in common ownership.

From the ferment of Harlow, a hot bed of competition in the summer of 2012, we have former Metrobus 745 (R745BMY), an early Plaxton bodied Dennis Dart SLF, still in Metrobus livery. Seen with 745 in Harlow Bus Station is an SM Coaches Enviro200, but the otherwise anonymous Dart belongs to another Harlow contender, Logic Bus.

Dart MPD 799 (W799VMV) was transferred to fellow Go-Ahead subsidiary Brighton & Hove and worked the 57 from Brighton Station to East Saltdean. It is seen near the station in June 2010 as B&H 244.

Sister vehicle, Brighton & Hove 249 (T313SMV) is seen to the east of Brighton next to the picturesque Roedean Golf Course on the same day. It used to be Metrobus 313.
