First Southampton's first artic The first of Southampton's expected fleet of 18 Wright Fusion articulated Volvo B7LAs was displayed to much acclaim at the Royal Victoria Bus Rally in July 2000. As the scrolling destination indicates, the fleet of vehicles will cost around £3.5m.

370FCR In contrast, preserved Southampton City 350 (370FCR) was also on display at the Royal Victoria event. The Neepsend bodied AEC Regent V seated 66 - just a few more than the Fusion. Neepsend were an associate of East Lancs, who subsequently bodied Southamton's Atlantean fleet.
