Back in the sixties Southampton City
Transport boasted a big fleet of Regent Vs and Guy Arabs, like this one. 66 (LOW212) has
Park Royal bodywork of similar vintage to the London RT, and similarities will be apparent.

With an Arab in the background, here is one of Southampton's rear loading Regent V's.

A small number of Leyland Titan PD2As were also in the fleet at one time - this one is seen
arriving at Hillingdon for Showbus 79.

Seen on the 1979 SHOWBUS Road Run at Langley is this AEC Regent V.

Accompanying the PD2A was one of Southampton's long standing open top Arabs which are still
around, but not quite as active as they were in the late seventies. The vehicle is decorated
for Southampton City Transport's centennial celebrations.
