A major restoration work, which is detailed on the FOKAB website, was that of Bedford VAL14/Plaxton Panorama CCG704C. It is seen at Southsea in 2002 when newly restored.

The coach was proudly displayed at the EFE SHOWBUS International event that September at Duxford and presents the different colour scheme of King Alfred's coach fleet. Interestingly the King Alfred coach colours were very similar to those of Chiltern Queens, though as the picture below shows, Chiltern Queens' bus livery was totally different to their coach colours.
