Dating from before that time, this was an unusual acquisition for an independent. 822 (YJ05PXM) is one of a pair of East Lancs bodied VDL DB250LF and joined an earlier DAF based Optare Spectra. |
 Replacing planned doubledeck entries from Solent Blueline at SHOWBUS 2007 was this Marchwwod Motorways DAF SB120, 564 (YG52CLX). The doubledeckers were engaged, via Go-Ahead London, on rail replacement work. The DAF is in Solent Blueline "bluestar" colours and has apparently been treated to a paint job which is designed to reduce rattles. Proof of the pudding will be in the eating. |
