743 (T743JPO) is one of a batch of East Lancs Lolyne Dennis Tridents to enter service on the trunk route
from Southampton to Winchester, once the preserve of Hants & Dorset Bristols. The vehicles have
proved popular and increased ridership and herald the entry of more of the type in the fleet. Unfortunately
743 looks the worse for January weather and road conditions here in Eastleigh.

Trident/Lolyne 749 (T749JFX) made an appearance at Millennium Showbus.

Though the Tridents operate on the trunk 48 route to Winchester from Southampton, this Northern
Counties bodied Olympian is seen on the service one summer Sunday in 2000.

In 2002 Solent Blue Line turned to the Volvo B7TL and 757 (HX51ZRK) is seen at Southsea in June. The bodywork is again by East Lancs, but with the new Vyking Mylennium style front. |

45 (J219KTT) is a Plaxton bodied Mercedes acquired form Plymouth Citybus and seen at the 2000
Royal Victoria Bus Rally in Southampton.
