City of Nottingham Olympian Glimpsed rounding the 'blue leanie' roundabout is one of a pair of ex Nottingham Northern Counties bodied Olympians which left that fleet for Southend after relatively short service. From there they went to Buffalo Travel and one was used as Rally Control at Showbus, Woburn Abbey during that time. They passed to the Shires with Buffalo's bus services and were initially despatched to Wycombe for the Chesham services, but were too tall to negotiate Amersham Railway Bridge. They now while their time away on school runs at Aylesbury, which is what this one is doing.

City of Nottingham Guide Friday, Oxford A long running Guide Friday tour is that of Oxford City - a natural follow on from GF's pioneering nearby Stratford on Avon operation. This is another former Nottingham vehicle.

City Of Nottingham GTO333N The highly successful Guide Friday tour operation has concentrated on using retired distinctive Nottingham City Leyland Atlanteans converted to open top and adorned with suitable detailed paintings. GTO333N is seen on the Windsor tour in 1996, opposite the Castle. It is being overtaken by a Toyota Coaster/Caetano used on the town's Park & Ride service.

Red Rose - Centro GAU728L
133 (GAU728L) was acquired from Nottingham by RED ROVER. All four of Red Rover's first ex Nottingham Nationals had originally entered service on free city centre routes in Nottingham in the early days of 'Park & Ride' and 'Lilac Leopards'. The vehicles launched Red Rover's ambitious LINKLINE cross town service, which with relaxation in route licensing eventually became an all day operation. Initially they were only allowed to operate until 0900 and from 1630 to 2300 and had to allow competitors United Counties and Oxford-South Midland to run only half of the route between these times - hardly an economic proposition for an enterprising small company. Luckily perseverance and a Conservative government saved the day. 133 turned up at the Birmingham Outer Circle run in 1999 in Centro colours, though traces of Red Rover red paint could be found around the nearside rear skirt panels!
