This Plaxton Verde bodied Dennis Lance, 368 (L942RJN), went well with the Lances from Metroline, but 368 was ex Stagecoach. It too had been new to London Buses as LV12 (L212YAG), got reregistered as WLT461 (of RM461) and became part of Stagecoach Selkent and later acquired the registration L942RJN. The bus was transferred to Stagecoach South Coast as 1212 and on to North West with Stagecoach national fleet number 27212. Unfortunately disaster struck and the bus became a victim in the 2005 Carlisle floods. After salvage it joined Diamond Bus. It since gained a fourth registration: LUI9627 after Go West Midlands sold it to Premiere of Nottingham.

Dennis Dart/Plaxton Pointer 724 (M445BLC) was an unusual secondhand acquisition at a time when such Darts were not readily available. The 9m bus had spent its previous life working for NCP at Birmingham Airport on car park shuttles. The bus was originally a 25 seat dual door model.

Several Optare Excels were acquired by Diamond Bus including 109 (P509OUG) which was new to Metrobus of Orpington and disposed of by them before both companies were in common ownership.
