Diamond Bus Mercedes 709D Plaxton
People's Express yellow livery was still much in evidence in the city centre in October 2006. Here 787 (P687HND), a Mercedes 709D/Plaxton Beaver is seen at the side of New Street Station.

Mercedes 787 is seen later in the day picking its way through traffic. A new legal lettering panel is quite clear in a fresher yellow.

Pete's Travel bought a batch of six Dennis Dart SLFs with Alexander ALX200 bodies in 2000 of which W901JNF was the first.

Whilst most of the ex Diamond Bus vehicles displayed a small "part of Go-Ahead" sticker, the People's Express fleet appeared untouched apart form the legal owner panels, just visible on W905JNF.

Dart W904JNF heads for Brownhills on the 156.
