The Wheatley to Oxford service via Forest Row has had a turbulent recent passed, not helped by
the inability of buses in Wheatly having to travel on the A40 to Headington before being able to
U-turn and head back to Forest Hill. The service passed to Motts (Yellow Bus) with certain journeys
linking through to Aylesbury and this has been perpetuated in part by Arriva the Shires running 260
services from Thame to Oxford, but not via Forest Row. The 230 Forest Hill service is now run by
Charlton-on-Otmoor Services and has been renumbered. Express bodied Tiger A113MUD contrasts
with low floor MANs now running into Oxford from Headington with Stagecoach Oxford.

This very smart Duple 340 bodied Leyland Tiger took a while before entering service, but once
overhauled it looked very smart indeed. It is seen on its first week in service on a private hire
to Wycombe High School.

This smart little Mercedes (H37SAK) appeared to be operating the bus service into Oxford on the Wednesday
after Christmas in 1999. A far cry from the RTs once used.

Another Mercedes minicoach, with cherished registration CSU432, on a Bucks County Council school
contract from the grammar schools in Aylesbury, seen leaving the Grange School Coach park
interchange for the Oxfordshire borders.
