 English language study schools are big business in Oxford. When the regular students are on summer holidays the university residents are stacked out with international students learning English for a few weeks. Big business for bus companies meeting groups at airports and transferring them to Oxford and at the weekends there is a break from study and students can enjoy excursions to popular tourist destinations. London is an obvious day trip, but Brighton, Cambridge, Stonehenge with Bath or Bournemouth are amongst the trips on offer.
