This bus was a secondhand purchase by City of Oxford and is seen with its original owner in Abingdon.
The ECW bodied Leyland Olympian was owned by the AERE at Harwell and replaced, with others, an
earlier fleet of VRs. The batch was bought by Oxford and ended their days with the company's
Wycombe Bus division.

A pair of the batch of Marshall bodied Darts delivered to Oxford were transferred to Wycombe at the time
of the sale of the Wycombe Bus operations to Arriva. They were converted to single door. 3833 (M503VJO), formerly Oxford 503, is seen having been transferred on to Aylesbury on the 54 to Halton Camp.
