Not an obvious rarity, but this Northern Counties bodied Leyland Titan was one of a large batch for PMT
built on export chassis with the OPD2/1 designation in 1950. The bus, L453 (NEH453) is seen arriving at a late seventies Hillingdon Showbus.

The same bus is seen a few months later in this near side view at Millennium Showbus.

For a bus based in Hastings 1066 is a perfect registration number, even if prefixed by a less appropriate selection of letters: KIW. The Mercedes/Plaxton is 58 in the Empress of Hastings fleet and is a former PMT vehicle. It is seen here at SHOWBUS international 2002 having taken part in the Gold Run from Cambridge to Duxford. Empress had painted the vehicle in gold for Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee. Alongside is Wirral Museum's Routemaster also suitably decorated for the celebrations.
