East Yorkshire's standard low floor bus up till 2000 was the Optare Excel. They now have many
examples in service, of two different lengths (11.5m and 10.8m). This vehicle is one of shorter versions,
pictured in Hull.

Another Excel of the shorter variety is 253 (R253 PRH). All of East Yorkshire's Excels are based at Hull
apart from two which operate the Park & Ride in Scarborough.

One of the last batch of Excels to be delivered was 295 (S295 RAG). This vehicle carries small and
almost insignificant branding down the side for the Hull Park & Ride service which it operates.

The standard highfloor singledecker in the East Yorkshire fleet was another Optare product, but this time
the Mercedes based Optare Prisma. Also seen in Hull on layover is just such a bus, 268 (N268 KAG).

Seen at a Hillingdon Showbus back in the seventies is this AEC Reliance in the old blue and cream colours.
