AUGUST 1 Hemingborough, N Yorks. Diamond Jubilee Running Day at Thornes Coaches, 9.30-17.00. A park & ride service will be in operation from the local business park (no parking at Thornes) and a free service from Selby Bus Station, plus short local excursions. There will be a film sho recalling operational vehicles dating back as far as 1967. The defunct Selby-Market Weighton service will be re-enacted to the 1955 timetable.The firm's four operational heritage vehicles - together with guest heritage buses - will be in operation, together with selected vehicles from the operational fleet.
