Bendigo Trams Duncan & Fraser Brill car 8
This is one of four surviving bodies of the twelve 1903 Brill cars at the time restoration commenced. The tram was heavily rebuilt on two occasions during its 44 year active life, making dramatic improveents on its 1903 design. Car 8 was the first tram acquired by The Bendigo Trust.

Prahran & Malvern James Moore & Co 84
Built by James Moore & Co of Melbourne as California combination car for the Prahran & Malvern Tramways Trust as their 84, the tram later became M&MTB B class 84. In 1931 it joined Bendigo Tramways as car 16 later being converted to one-man-operation in 1935. Withdrawn from regular service in 1962 because the body was in poor condition, the tram was only allocated to short workings, school specials and the like, being finally withdrawn three years later. In 1975 the tram was made fully operational by The Bendigo Trust and sat at the top of 6 road with the paintwork in a shabby state, which helped generate donations to the Tramways Paint Fund! The tram was fully restored during 2009/10 as California combination tram 84 in time for the centenary of the Prahran & Malvern Tramways Trust.
