Firefly Scania K124EB Coach Design 14
We start with one of two short lived members of the Mackay fleet, 32 (MTC32). Along with sister vehicle Firefly 15, former 14 (5514AO) is seen in Adelaide Bus Station in August 2005. The front line Firefly coach fleet all carry names and 32 was known as "Midnight Runner". An appropriate name as there are overnight runs in both directions between Melbourne and Sydney and Melbourne and Adelaide. There are day coaches too. "Midnight Runner" is a 2004 Coach Design bodied Scania K124EB and the two Scanias acquired by Mackay were the only Scanias in their fleet. Swan Gold Tours of Redcliffe, WA acquired 14 and 15 went to Gambier Coachlines of Mount Gambier in SA.
