Sydney Cricket Ground
There is always a Test Match early in the New Year at the SCG which results in many Sydney Buses running Cricket Specials from Circular and the Central Railway Station. The long line of blue and white buses on layover outside the cricket grounds can be seen.

Edgecliff Bus Station
Something of a non event is the Edgecliff Station interchange which only sees services passing through on route between the city and Vaucluse, the 324/325 Watson bay services.

A poor quality picture of an STA Leyland Leopard in rush hour service back in 1989.

Sydney Buses graffiti
Graffiti is a problem on public transport worldwide. Being a regular visitor to Sydney I was shocked at the escalation of this blight during 2008. Within days of new buses going into service their windows have been etched. This bus is a particularly horrific example of what can happen at the back of a bus. Sydney Buses do not seem capable of tackling the problem. Those buses fitted with CCTV do not have cameras at the back of the bus! Exterior adverts which cover windows concentrate on those in the middle of the bus, perhaps if advert panels covered rear windows in preference then they would deprive some of these vandals of an audience for their "work".

La Perouse Razzle Dazzle Bus Shelter
The bus shelter at the terminus at La Perouse is quite something. The plaque inside on the right explains that it is painted in a mock of the "razzle dazzle" scheme used on naval vessels in World War 2 to confuse German U boats as to the direction of travel of the ship they were looking to torpedo. Can you work out which way the bus shelter is moving?
