 Without knowing when photographed in April 2008, 38 (JD4954) was to become the most famous of the Christchurch Bristols, entering preservation in the UK with Dr Michael Walker three years later. He has rallied former 531 in its jolly Bayline livery. |

 This SHOWBUS view shows why the Duxford rally was dubbed "international". The New Zealand RE was displayed with a Dutch NZH Leyland LVS-Verheul, a CIE Metsec bodied Leopard, New World First Bus Dennis Condor and a CARRIS AEC Regent from Lisbon.
