At Pioneer Square that day was 2650, from 2003. This rear view shows the rather ugly bolt on roof pods necessary for hybrid batteries and ancillary equipment. Most manufacturers, New Flyer included, have changed their designs to hide the extra kit behind fairings integral to the vehicle design.

King County New Flyer DE60LF 2753
Forward to October 2014 and hybrid 2753 is seen in the city's Transit Tunnel. The Tunnel was opened in 1990 and served by dual mode Breda buses which used overhead electrical power in the tunnel, with diesel power available elsewhere. It is not known if the New Flyer hybrid buses could be switched to electric mode when in the tunnel. In 2009 light rail joined the tunnel, the tracks being clearly visible. The Sound Transit operated line links the CBD to the Airport. With redevelopment in prospect buses abandoned the tunnel in 2019 though the light rail remains with its track extended to Chinatown.
