 By June 2017 the DE60LFR models had given way to the similar looking but substantially redesigned Xcelsior XDE60 bus. This is 8060, delivered in 2016.

 A batch of 85 arrived between 2015 and 2016, this is Xcelsior 8042 also on the 62 but heading in the opposite direction to Fremont. Though not RapidRide buses, these Xcelsiors are three doored.
