We were sent these pictures of London's last Routemaster, RM2217 on its last journey to the depot on its last day of service, 9th December 2005. As it has taken seven years to finding them a home on the site we have sadly lost the name of the photographer who braved the crowds to get these classic pictures. They were used on the site at the time.

First and Stagecoach continue to operate the 9 and 15 heritage services respectively and many are still used for special occasions. RM2217 (CUV217C) has been retained in its last day guise in Arriva's Heritage fleet.
