New Tridents again for the 55, but as the posters prominently proclaim, these are conductor operated. Also noticeable is fleet number TA411 on the front, as the new registrations are unable to match '411' and LX51FHW gives no clue to fleet number 411.

A few years later and what might have been TA1207 sports national fleet number 18207 (LX04FWT). The brand new Trident is for the 8 to replace Stagecoach's last full service Routemaster route. It is seen on the last day of service for the Routemasters on the 8.

Trident 17768 (LX03BVD) on the forecourt of Euston Station shows the rear livery treatment of Stagecoach's London Tridents.
