Metrobus Omnicity
Metrobus has been building its south London business investing in new buses and services centred on Crawley and Gatwick Airport. Scania Omnicity 549 (YN05HCE) is seen arriving at SHOWBUS.
 
Tourist Coaches DAF SB4000 Van Hool
In the south of England Go-Ahead have several small coach fleets spawned by Wilts & Dorset and Solent Blueline. Tourist Coaches is one such fleet and it has been given a style makeover as seen on 6021 (YJ03PPX), a 2003 DAF SB4000 with Van Hool coachwork.
 
Brighton & Hove Thomas Tilling Routemaster
Last seen at SHOWBUS in Metrobus LT green colours, former London RML2317 has been transferred to fellow Go-Ahead fleet, Brighton & Hove, where it has been painted into a version of the livery first used by B&H's predecessor in the town, Thomas Tilling.
 
Southern Vectis Bristol K/ECW
A delight to see at SHOWBUS was Southern Vectis' vintage Bristol K/ECW of 1939. A treat for all was that it did a few runs on the Duxford Tour giving visitors a chance to cool down on what had been a very hot day.
 
Southern Vectis Crossley SD42 Whitson
A surprise entry at SHOWBUS was this rare Crossley SD42/7 with Whitson C33F in Southern Vectis colours, GDL33 was new to Nash of Ventnor in 1949 and later became SVOC 103.
