Southdown Queen Mary Leyland Titan PD3 Northern Counties 409
Southdown 409 is seen again at the 2001 SHOWBUS.

Southdown Queen Mary Leyland Titan PD3 Northern Counties 409 and 307
Seen with closed top younger Queen Mary, 307 (FCD307D), 409 is this time at the Southsea Spectacular. Titan 307 has gained NBC Southdown fleetnames, but appears to have had a life in Leicester after temporarily leaving the south coast.

Queen Mary 409, again, looking very at home on Eastbourne seafront on the occasion of the Eastbourne centenary rally in 2003.

Southdown Queen Mary Leyland Titan PD3 Northern Counties
Southdown's apple green and cream colours added to the summer time feel at Showbus 2008. Nearest the camera, and bearing their fleetname, is Stephenson's of Essex 424DCD, former 424, and alongside George Jennings' preserved 272 (BUF272C). The Stephenson's full front Northern Counties body, unlike that of 272, is one of those convertible to opentop.

Side by side at the Alton Rally in July 2015 are topless 409 and sister vehicle 422 (422DCD).
