Bournemouth Centenary Volvo and Swindon Park & Ride Dennis
2002 saw the centenary of Bournemouth's bus fleet. To commemorate the occasion, new Volvo B7TL / East Lancs Vyking Cabryolet (!) 431 (HJ02HFB) was painted gold and lettered accordingly. The bus is seen at the Southsea Spectacular before the heavens opened with Tmaesdown brightly coloured Park & Ride Dart SPD 200 (WV02NNC).

Later in the year, partner vehicle 198 (WV02NNA) appeared at EFE SHOWBUS International.
 
Thamesdown Scania L94UB Wright Solar
For their 2006 deliveries Thamesdown switched to the Scania L94UB with Wright Solar bodywork. Here 504 (WX06JXS) is performing on the 2006 Duxford Site Shuttle, the electronic destination display being used to good effect.

Earlier in the year sister vehicle 509 (WX06JYA) was seen at the Alton Bus rally on a scorching summer's day.
