In contrast to the numerous LS buses, 854 (VJB845) was one of a batch of only six Bristol MW6G buses, two of which were dual purpose. This one is seen at Newbury.

What was South Midland 807 (PRX933) is an MW coach converted for Thames Valley bus operation and seen here in High Wycombe, alongside an LS bus. The MW coach fleet totalled sixteen, in contrast to the six buses.

Former South Midland LS6B 91 (TWL56) was renumbered S316 on conversion for bus work, it retained its coach seats and gained Thames Valley dual purpose livery, swopping its maroon paint for Tilling Red. It is seen here laying over near Windsor Castle,

Former South Midland 690, received more extensive treatment to become S310 (HMO836) fitted with 41 bus seats and full bus livery.
