Having started operation with an ex East Kent AEC, the colour scheme has inspired the fleet. Big Bus present the smartest open toppers on London tours, as the pictures below show.
Big Bus AEC Routemaster Park Royal FPT593C
Darling of the fleet was this ex Northern General forward entrance Routemaster, FPT593C, one of the fleet of fifty non-London and forward entrance Routemasters built. Ironically it has gravitated to the capital in its final years. It is seen waiting to take up duties early in the morning in the Victoria area.

Big Bus London Leyland Fleetlien Park Royal DMS2361
DMS2361 (OJD361R) was one of a diminishing huge fleet of well presented DMS class vehicles plying the streets of London. It is seen here passing a rival from the London Pride near Victoria Coach Station.
