In common with other open top tour operators, Big Bus has acquired some ex Hong Kong tri-axle double deckers.
The long wheelbase means lots of seats on the top deck, where they are needed. This MCW Super Metrobus
looks fine in the Big Bus traditional livery, F159UJN is seen entering Piccadilly Circus from Regent
Street. |

A personalised registration, B16BSS, hints at "BIG Bus" as this ex Hong Kong Metrobus edges towards the Tower of London as a First Citaro on the RV1 heads behind to the Tower Gateway. |

On the same grey day in summer 2007 two open toppers cross Tower Bridge. |

Operating open toppers in British summer weather tempts providence and those grey skies turned into a torrential downpour. Both City Sightseeing and Big Bus are prepared for such eventualities with umbrellas and plastic macs - and, of course, you can always seek refuge downstairs, which is what all but the hardiest did in this deluge outside the Tower of London. Raindrops can be seen bouncing up some distance on the road! |
