Harris Coaches played a pioneering part, with Grey Green, in developing what has become the Eurolines
service to Amsterdam. This DAF/Van Hool coach is seen in that city, but not on that work. The trail of
exhaust fumes resulted in the coach being stopped by the police a few minutes later!

An unusual acquisition for Red Rose of Aylesbury was this Volvo B9M with Plaxton Bustler bodywork
from Bharat in the West Midlands, in whose livery it was used initially. The vehicle originated with
Harris Bus in Essex. It is seen here resting on a private hire duty in High Wycombe.
