To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the formation of London Transport in 1983 LT held an
Open Day at the now closed famous Chiswick Bus Works. Red Arrow LS438 (GUW438W) headed a line
up of London singledeckers. The bus was rebuilt in 1994 by East Lancs for further use on Red
Arrow duties as a National Greenway.

LS445 avoided the Greenway treatment and is seen here at Staines Bus Station in service
with White Rose. The Reading Solo and Motts Metrobus behind denote the occasion of the Bus of
Yesteryear Rally in Staines Bus Station in August 2000.
