Hants & Dorset 3048 (UEL564J) at EFE SHOWBUS International 2001. The bus is dual purpose seating but on the low slung RELL chassis.

HANTS & DORSET

3048 appears again in this Showbus picture seven years later in the Bristol Centennial Display. It is sandwiched between preserved North Western 382 and Wotten's ex Colchester model. The bus was due a repaint in traditional livery before Showbus 2009.

This much earlier picture from Southampton in the seventies is of two Lodekkas. In the front is 1122 (4380LJ) and FS6G, but behind is alonger FL6G model 1203 (4390LJ). The picture also links to Showbus 2008 as the FS featured with a United Counties Bristol JO5G in adverts and the like, promoting the event and the centennial Bristol Gold Run from Trumpington.

Not surprisingly the dual purpose REs were followed in due course by similarly fitted out Leyland Nationals. Here H&D 3646 (GLJ682N) is seen at the Bristol City centre bus rally in the mid seventies with Alder Valley Bristol LH6L 540 (KPA351P).
