Entering Brighton in May 2007 as part of the annual HCVC run is Bristol VR 621 (OSF307G). The bus was originally Eastern Scottish AA307 and was swapped for a Bristol Lodekka FLF as part of a wholesale disposal of the Scottish Bus Group VR fleet to NBC in the early seventies. After service with SVOC it passed to renowned VR operator Johnsons of Hodthorpe in 1986 and is seen here preserved by Derek Priddle of Farnham, who acquired the bus in 2004.

Bristol RELL 864 is a 'banana boat' and has spent some years in this guise as the 'Shanklin Pony' -
it's certainly better than Shank's Pony! 864 was also at Southsea in 2001.
