Other Cardiff Buses to appear in Wycombe were some of the
Alexander bodied Bristol VRs which were purchased by Heyfordian for an exclusive contract service for Oxford
Brookes University. The livery is that of the university. The contract used to belong to City of Oxford
but was taken over by Motts as part of their Yellow Bus operation. It is currently (2002) with Stagecoach
Oxford! 9945NE and its Heyfordian fellows were moved to Wycombe for local school contract work.

This rear view of the 3 VRs transferred to
Wycombe is headed by 7034KW, formerly Cardiff 384. As can be seen, the
Oxford Brookes lettering has been retained.

Though Motts relinquished their bus services to City of Oxford
and Arriva, they retained contracts with Oxford Brookes and, in particular, the shuttle service between
Oxford and Wheatley for the Midsummer Ball. Subcontracted for the 2000 ball were several Heyfordian
vehicles including the then appropriately lettered VRs.
