Typical of the Barton fleet of the sixties were these Duple bodied Titans, some rebodied, lots of
secondhand doubledeckers and odd ball machines, like dual door Yeates bodied Bedford VALs and
Dennis Lolines - with of course the low height Loline! This bus is seen on the Showbus 79 road run at
Langley.

These four ex Barton vehicles at EFE Showbus 98, were part of the large fleet of Plaxton bodied Leyland
Leopards purchased with bus grant that saw off Barton's museum pieces. There were AEC Reliances
and Duple Dominant bodies involved too, but the Leyland/Plaxton combination predominated.

Seen here at EFE SHOWBUS International 2001 in the Plaxton line up is AEC Reliance 1226
(MRR808K) with Plaxton Panorama Elite coachwork.

Alongside was Leyland Leopard 1246 (RVO668L).

A year earlier and 1246 was at Millenium Showbus, subtle changes have occured since then - spot the difference!
