The year 2007 marked bodybuilder Plaxton's centenary and a big gathering of Plaxton vehicles was held at their factory in Scarborough in April. With Barton being a prominent Plaxton customer in its last days of independence, it was not surprising to see Leopard 1246 (RVO668L) as part of the tribute display.

Further celebrations followed at SHOWBUS in September with a Gold Run of Plaxton vehicles arriving around midday from Trumpington Park & Ride. Leopard 1246 is seen in the parade.

In the afternoon 1246 was tagged on the far end of the Barton contribution to the SHOWBUS Plaxton Centennial display. First in line is 564 (KAU564V), a Supreme IV bodied Leopard and in the middle Plaxton Elite bodied Leopard 1235 (RVO657L).
