First PMT Dart & Olympian
PMT's Olympians carried the rather unfortunate class designation DOG (Doubledeck, Olympian, Gardner engine); Ex Crosville 779 (A137SMA) is seen alongside 9 metre dual purpose seated Dennis Dart IDC902 (J902SEH) at Hanley Bus Station.
First
PMT Ford Transit
PMT's first minibuses, like so many operators, were based on the Ford Transit. Unlike other operators though, PMT built many of their own bodies as on 161 (C161VRE) seen at SHOWBUS international 2002 sandwiched between a Postbus and a VW in mock Black & White Motorways livery.
First
PMT Mercedes Minibuses
PMT's fleet is dominated by minibuses, many of which are Mercedes. MMM575 & 590 are 1995 Plaxton Beaver bodied 709Ds alongside a newer Vario/Beaver 2 at Hanley.
First
PMT Mercedes Ami H366LFA
IMM366 (H366LFA) is a Mercedes 811D with PMT's own Ami coachwork. For a time PMT supplied other operators with its bodies as well as satisfying its own needs.
First
PMT Mercedes Vario & Scania L113
Alongside First liveried Scania L113CRL 814 (S814AEH) is Vario 262 (S262AFA) which bears the standard fleet livery applied to non- low floor vehicles, both were new in 1998.
