Some of the first First (!) Optare Solos saw service with PMT and 76 (W476SVT)
made its appearance some 18 months after first entering service with appropriate
destination display at EFE SHOWBUS 2001.

With their proximity there is often vehicle exchanges between First Manchester and First PMT. Alongside 76 was Manchester's new Volvo B7L with Wright Eclipse bodywork 701 (Y774TNC). |

Contrasting on the other side was a vehicle then new to Essex school transport specialist, Phoenix Travel: Leyland Lynx G473DHF, new to Halton Transport as 54. |
