This week a trio of Wright Streetlite WF buses has entered service in High Wycombe on town service 33. Two DF models have appeared with the rival operator in the town, Go-Ahead's Carousel subsidiary. This is Arriva the Shires 2527 (LK15FFV), though it is bereft of any identity beyond its fleet number and legal lettering. For a few weeks 2518 (LK15FFS) has been running on the 33 with low carbon branding and graphics. These are the first new buses for Arriva in Wycombe since two Optare Versas in January 2008, which left the depot after a couple of years. The depot is clearly pleased with its new acquisitions and is bringing one to SHOWBUS at Woburn Abbey on September 20th.
