 Working a weekend night network duty in December 2013 is a Volgren CR228L, probably a Scania K280UB at St Kilda Junction which does not normally see Ventura buses. |

 Ventura acquired US Bus Lines in late 2009 and a few Volgren bodied Scanias came with the fleet which were mostly painted white with red and blue stripes. This picture of 2005 Scania L94UB 69 (3669AO), one of a pair delivered that year, was taken at Croydon Station in March 2012. It appears to have been transferred to Ventura having lost its US stripes and gained Ventura fleetnames. However the Ventura-Grenda takeover had not long happened and livery experiments were afoot to find a new livery for the enlarged company. Ventura had already started allocating standard livery Ventura named units to both the recently acquired Ivanhoe and US Bus Lines fleets. Alongside 69 is Custom CB60 bodied 892 (5968AO) also a 2005 L94UB. |

 AFter the acquisition of the Grenda Corporation and its various fleets, Ventura names were applied across all its subsidiaries. By the time of the takeover Grenda had almost eradicated the different liveries across its subsidiaries so many buses were in the scheme here on 2008 Volgren Malaysia CR228L bodied Mercedes O500LE 277 (6951AO) seen in November 2013. The expanded company's intention may have been to ultimately transform the fleet into the new livery of white with blue and yellow stripes in the shape of a stylised Ventura "V, but ultimately PTV orange and white prevailed.  Apart from its yellow bumper this 2002 ex Grenda CR221L bodied Mercedes O405NH, 570 (4509AO), is in plain white. It is seen in March 2015 on Spencer Street with the urban rail bridge behind it at the Flinders Street junction working a route 96 tram replacement bus service.
