Former London Transport RM1919 has recently arrived in Germany as A Hogger's
Silver Lady. Its last job in the UK was on the Harrods London Tour, which
is how it lost its roof, but it has gained a platform extension since arriving in
Germany.

Sadly the only bus that made the event from the UK was former Crosville Bristol
RELH6G/ECW CRG106 (AFM106G). The party from Liverpool enjoyed the great hospitality
which accompanied the impressive event and certainly found the long journey
well worthwhile and were planning a trip to an Austrian event in 2005. The
illuminated panels on the nearside had been modified by replacing "London"
by "Rhine Valley".

FBW was a Swiss truck and bus manufacturer, turning out about 200 hand built
vehicle annually. This late entry was one of their more recent efforts.
Quite what use the vehicle had in its current layout, or indeed if it was
built as seen in unknown. Alongside is the Belgian Volvo B58/Haggland of de Zigeuner
which visited SHOWBUS in 1999.

The only picture on the Road Run between Stuttgart and Sinsheim caught this
Mercedes O317 one and a half deck with body by Ludewig dating from 1974.
We have made a video of the event, with planty of road run action and hope
to make copies available in due course.
